We’re excited to publish this opportunity to collaborate with DB Regio Bus, the bus division of DB Regio AG.  

Over the course of 100 days, the selected startup will have the opportunity to tailor their solution to a real-world challenge of DB Regio AG and to test it live within the Deutsche Bahn environment.

You will be supported by a dedicated DB mindbox startup manager, who is your bridge to the world of Deutsche Bahn (DB). Plus, the option to work at our coworking space in the center of Berlin with 24/7 access.

This is a great opportunity to lay the foundation for joint projects and successful long-term collaboration with Deutsche Bahn Group, Europe’s largest mobility and infrastructure provider with more than 200.000 employees.

01 – DB Regio Bus

DB Regio Bus, the bus division of DB Regio AG, is Germany’s largest bus operator, carrying around 420 million passengers. It operates over 9,900 buses across nearly 300 districts and independent cities. In doing so, they provide climate-friendly local public transport, ensure connections to rail services, and offer an attractive range of transport options in both urban and rural areas. The core business is local public transport.

Automated damage detection for buses

Damages occur during the day-to-day operation of our bus fleet, though not all of it is visible at first glance. Recording and documenting damage to our vehicles is a time-consuming process. Help us to automatically detect and document damage directly at our depots.
